Member Clubs

The heart and soul of the Trans-Mississippi Golf Association is its strong foundation of member clubs. From its humble beginnings in 1901 with 15 clubs banding together to create a wonderful history of camaraderie and friendly competition along either side of the Mississippi River, the association has grown to almost 200 member clubs today.

Why Join?

What more important asset is there, at a golf club, than the management of its turf through the education of competent superintendents? The Trans-Mississippi Turf Scholarship Fund fills this need through the education of some of the finest turf students in the country. The annual club dues come back in spades to our member clubs and to the game of golf through our educational grants as we help educate the golf course superintendents of tomorrow.

Our member clubs and our past and present scholars can now get assistance with job placement opportunities.

Being a member of member club also provides access to participate in our championships which are conducted on some of the finest courses in the country.

If your club is not already a member please join today and help support the Trans-Miss Golf Association and Turf Scholarship Fund. The member club dues go directly into our Turf Scholarship Fund to help support those young men and women pursuing careers as golf course superintendents. With the sky rocketing cost of education they need our help through a strong network of member clubs.

The Trans-Miss Turf Scholarship Fund is arguably the finest program of its kind in providing over $82,000 per year in grants to turf interns at 19 clubs across the country.
